Custom printing

Who makes custom printed t-shirts in Bangladesh?

Search for custom t-shirt printing in Bangladesh and you will find three very different kinds of business behind the results: neighbourhood print shops, bulk garment printers, and online brands that print to order. They make very different shirts. This page explains who does what, and exactly how a custom-printed Menlab t-shirt is made, from your upload to the parcel.

Three kinds of custom t-shirt maker in Bangladesh

The shirt you end up with depends far more on who is printing it than on the design you send. In Bangladesh the market splits roughly three ways.

WhoTypical minimumWhat you usually getBest for
Local print shop1 pieceWhatever blank is on the shelf, often light and unbranded; print quality varies by machineA quick one-off where the shirt itself does not matter
Bulk garment printer50 to 500 piecesGood pricing per piece, sampling, factory-grade printingUniforms, events, merchandise runs
Print-on-demand brand (Menlab)1 pieceThe brand's own quality-checked blank, a live preview, and home delivery paid partly on arrivalA single shirt you actually want to wear, or a small matching set

The blank matters more than the print

A custom print is only as good as the t-shirt under it. Menlab prints on the same tees and hoodies it sells in the shop: pieces that were fabric-checked, stitch-checked and colour-checked at the Mohammadpur studio before they were listed. You pick the size and the colour from the product's real stock, so the shirt you design is the shirt you get.

Because the blank is a shop product, the fit is a known quantity. If you want a loose, drop-shoulder look, pick an oversized tee; if you want it to sit closer, pick a regular fit. The oversized t-shirt guide explains the difference.

From your upload to your doorstep

  1. 01

You design it in the browser

Choose a customisable product, then upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG (up to 10MB) or generate artwork with AI. Drag, resize and rotate it on the front, back, left sleeve or right sleeve. No software, no account needed to start.

  2. 02

    You approve a real preview

The preview is built from your actual file at its real size and position on the real product photo. What you approve is what gets printed.

  3. 03

    We prepare the print file

Your artwork is saved print-ready at the moment you add it to the cart. The team checks resolution and placement, and reaches out if something would print badly.

  4. 04

    We print, cure and quality-check

The design is printed onto the garment at the studio, then checked by hand against your approved preview before it is packed.

  5. 05

Courier delivers, you pay on arrival

Custom orders check out like any other Menlab order: the delivery charge or the full amount by bKash, and the rest in cash on arrival. Allow 1 to 2 extra days on top of the usual delivery window because each piece is printed to order.

04

What makes a print come out sharp

  • Resolution. Use the biggest version of your image you have, ideally at least 1000px wide. A small logo scaled up will print soft.
  • Transparent background. A PNG with a transparent background looks best on coloured garments, because there is no white box around the design.
  • Vector where possible. An SVG scales to any size without losing edges. Logos and text are best sent this way.
  • Contrast against the fabric. Dark artwork on a black tee disappears. The preview shows you this before you order.
05

No minimum order, and a bulk route when you need it

A single custom piece is completely fine, and the price per piece is the same whether you order one or five. For a team, event or company, the bulk order route starts at 20 pieces, with your logo printed on Menlab blanks, and from 500 pieces a garment can be made to your own cut and fabric. Stock pieces usually ship within a week of confirmation, custom printing adds a few days for proofing, and a made-to-order garment runs three to six weeks.

06

Why custom prints are final

Custom-printed items are not returnable or refundable, because a piece printed with your own design cannot be resold to anyone else. The one exception is our own mistake: if it arrives damaged, faulty, or printed differently from the approved preview, send a photo within 7 days and we reprint it or refund it in full.

Because of that, check the spelling, the colour and the size before you order. The support assistant will happily give your design a second look first.

Frequently asked questions

Who prints custom t-shirts at Menlab?

Menlab's own team prints custom orders at the studio in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, on the same quality-checked blanks sold in the shop. Every print is checked by hand against the preview you approved.

Can I order just one custom printed t-shirt?

Yes. There is no minimum. Order one piece for yourself or matching pieces for a group; the price per piece is the same. For 20 pieces or more the bulk team can usually do better on price.

How long does a custom printed t-shirt take?

Allow 1 to 2 extra days on top of the normal delivery window, which is 1 to 2 business days inside Dhaka City and 2 to 4 days elsewhere in Bangladesh.

Can I print on the back and the sleeves?

Yes. Front, back, left sleeve and right sleeve are each their own canvas, as long as the product supports them. Switch between them at the top of the studio.

Can I return a custom printed t-shirt?

No. Custom-printed items are not returnable or refundable because they cannot be resold. The exception is our own mistake: damaged, faulty or printed differently from the approved preview, which we reprint or refund in full.
